The X-Orcist — Blank!

So it always seems that at one time or another, a gaming comic must actually make some kind of statement about gaming consoles.  Don’t know why.

As we said in the original update for this comic, we really wanted to be console agnostic on our comic.  We <3 Nintendo, because Pokemon exists on Nintendo, but other than that, we weren’t too worried about “loyalty.”  But we decided that Ashley would be a Nintendo Purist, and in this comic he comes face to face to the face of evil’s face:  the XBOX360.

OK, XBOX fans, it’s not really evil.  We all know that it’s the PS3 that’s truly evil.

So, we knew that Ashley was going to react negatively to the console… but how?  It was our colorist who came up with the idea of holding the Wiimote+Nunchuck as a cross, and everything was locked down.

The title might be difficult to localize;  it’s based on the word “exorcism” and “exorcist,” somebody who removes demons or other evil entities from a person or place (Wikipedia, of course!)

This comic also ended up as a setup to a two parter guest comic by the Missing Number Art Teacher Guy.  So tune in on Saturday for the update!
